With gratitude and excitement, President F. DuBois Bowman marked a historic moment this fall as he experienced his first New Student Orientation as the 13th President of Morehouse College.
“It has been a truly rewarding experience engaging with students, parents, staff, faculty, and alumni: each interaction deepening my connection to this extraordinary institution,” Dr. Bowman shared.
From traveling to connect with alumni and supporters of the College, to returning to campus to kick off the academic year with a dynamic New Student Orientation, Dr. Bowman has embraced the community wholeheartedly. His conversations with students, staff, and faculty have demonstrated his commitment to listening, learning, and leading with purpose.
Dr. Bowman noted that he is inspired by the brilliance and passion of Morehouse Men and energized by the path ahead. “As we embark on this academic year, I look forward to the opportunities ahead, and I am confident it will be a year of growth, achievement, and meaningful progress for our beloved Morehouse.”
The Class of 2029 has now begun their journey, grounded in the traditions of excellence and brotherhood that define Morehouse. With President Bowman at the helm, the future holds tremendous promise.
