The Morehouse College men’s cross country team continues its historic dominance, powering to a fourth consecutive SIAC championship at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course. The Maroon Tigers delivered an impressive performance, placing four runners in the top 10 and finishing with just 26 points to secure the title.

Senior Brian Kemei led the charge, crossing the finish line in 25:51.31. His first-place finish earned him SIAC Runner of the Year honors for the third consecutive season, cementing his legacy as one of the conference’s most accomplished distance athletes. Kemei’s victory anchored a tightly packed Morehouse squad that controlled the race from start to finish.

This championship marks the program’s 28th SIAC men’s cross country title under the leadership of head coach Willie Hill, who was once again voted SIAC Coach of the Year for the fourth straight season. Hill’s stewardship has built a dynasty that has defined Morehouse cross country for more than four decades, producing champions, scholar-athletes, and an enduring culture of excellence.

Morehouse’s continued success reinforces the program’s legacy as the gold standard within the SIAC and a powerhouse in collegiate distance running.
