The Morehouse College track and field team clinched the 2025 Cricket SIAC Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championship title on Friday at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville.
The Maroon Tigers finished the two-day meet with 186.7 points, followed by Benedict in second place with 115.2 points. Tuskegee finished third with 91 points.
Morehouse’s Brian Kemei took home SIAC Men's Track Performer of the Year honors, winning gold in the 5,000-meter (16:44.01) on Thursday and the 3,000-meter (8:56.04) and 1-mile run (4:27.75) on Friday.
Legendary Morehouse head coach Willie Hill received the SIAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year award after leading his team to the inaugural conference title.
