    Morehouse Professor Shares Insight On King, Labor MovementDr. Andrew Douglas, an associate professor of political science at Morehouse, shared his views on Martin Luther King Jr.'s impact on the labor movement on “Closer Look” recently. The show aired on 90.1 FM WABE, a local National Public Radio affiliate. 

    Dr. Douglas is the author of W. E. B. Du Bois and the Critique of the Competitive Society (2019) and In the Spirit of Critique: Thinking Politically in the Dialectical Tradition (2013). He is also working on a book that will explore Martin Luther King, Jr.’s critique of capitalism. Douglas will write the book with  Morehouse graduate Jared Loggins.
