Health Forms
All new students entering Morehouse College must submit a Pre-Entrance Medical & Immunization Record using the Medicat medical portal. You must complete these documents entirely before moving on campus. This includes students who plan to participate in a Morehouse athletic program or intramural program (basketball, football, tennis, track, etc.). Students must also submit the Pre-Participation Athletic Physical Form before engaging in any formal athletic activity, sanctioned training, and practice.
- Failure to provide important medical information could result in unnecessary lab tests or screenings.
- Please make copies of the completed Pre-Entrance Health Record for your records.
- Students will not be able to move into campus housing until the Student Health Center clears them.
Completing and submitting Health Forms
- Log in to MyPortal at https://myportal.morehouse.edu, click on the Medicat icon.
- Please upload all REQUIRED health records and COVID-19 vaccination documents to the secure Medicat icon.
- Please complete in ink or type only. We will not accept faxes or copies.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
- If you are using financial aid (grants, loans, etc.), please make sure you have completed the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be awarded financial aid for the 2021-22 academic year. Go to studentaid.gov to complete your FAFSA if you have not already. Please allow 7-10 business days for the College to receive and process your FAFSA.
- Complete your application for UNCF Scholarships at UNCF.com. This is considered an outside scholarship, and UNCF determines eligibility and who gets awarded.
- Review our External Scholarship page on the Morehouse website https://www.morehouse.edu/admissions/financial-aid-and-scholarships/scholarships/ and apply for all scholarships for which you meet the criteria.
- Access BannerWeb to check the status of your financial aid award. BannerWeb shows the real-time, up-to-date status of your financial aid award. This is the best place to check first if you have questions about your financial aid status. Any updates to your financial aid status will be reflected in BannerWeb. Therefore, if you do not see any update in BannerWeb, the financial aid team is still processing your award. Please continue to monitor BannerWeb for updates. Visit our help center article for step-by-step instructions.
- If KHEAA Verify has contacted you, complete any verification requirements to be eligible for financial aid. The College has partnered with KHEAA to assist with the completion of verification of your FAFSA. Visit our KHEAA website for more details. For assistance with financial aid or student account issues, Contact Student Financial Services.
Review Student Account Transactions and Balance
- Tuition, mandatory fees, room, and board will post to your student account in July, December, and May for the fall, spring, and summer terms, respectively. You must be registered in classes to see charges post to your student account.
- You can review all student account transactions and your account balance due to the College in TigerPay. Visit our help center article for step-by-step instructions to access TigerPay.
- Also, be sure to keep track of important dates and deadlines related to billing and payment.
- If you complete all requirements, accepted aid will automatically pay your student account charges. Outstanding requirements or unaccepted aid will not pay your student account balance.
- Your student account balance must be paid in full by the published payment deadline to avoid being dropped for non-payment. Please note that the College will also add a financial hold that will prevent registration, graduation, and the receipt of a transcript if your account becomes delinquent.
- Detailed information about payment options is available in our online help center.
