Morehouse College is proud to announce its membership in the Digital Education Council (DEC) — a global alliance committed to accelerating sustainable innovation, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption across higher education and workforce development.
This significant development was spearheaded by Dr. Juana Mendenhall, Vice Provost for Academic Innovation and Learning and the W.E. Massey Endowed Professor in the Chemistry Department. Under her visionary leadership, Morehouse continues to embrace forward-thinking initiatives that align with the College’s mission to develop leaders equipped for the 21st-century world.
Founded by SuperCharger Ventures, the world’s largest EdTech accelerator, the DEC is a consortium of institutions and thought leaders working together to expand access to cutting-edge resources, foster global knowledge-sharing, and drive meaningful innovation in education. Through its work, the Council seeks to create a collaborative ecosystem that shapes the future of learning, especially in the realms of AI, digital learning, and skills development.
As a new DEC member, Morehouse College will gain access to:
-
Exclusive tools and resources that support academic innovation
-
Opportunities to collaborate with global experts and peer institutions
-
Platforms to co-create practices that deliver measurable impact across sectors
This alliance underscores Morehouse’s dedication to preparing its students not just for today’s challenges, but for the emerging demands of tomorrow’s digital economy. In joining DEC, Morehouse reaffirms its role as a thought leader and changemaker in higher education.
