Morehouse College Honored for Leading Student Voter Engagement in 2022 Midterms

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN) has recognized Morehouse College for its outstanding nonpartisan democratic engagement efforts, which led to high levels of student voter participation in the 2022 midterm elections. Morehouse College received the Best in Class Award for Highest Voting Rate at an HBCU, highlighting the institution's commitment to making nonpartisan democratic engagement a central aspect of campus life.
Additionally, Morehouse College has been featured on ALL IN’s inaugural list of Top Campuses by 2022 Voter Turnout for HBCUs, reflecting the college’s dedication to fostering a culture of civic involvement. Morehouse also earned a Silver Seal from ALL IN, based on its 2022 campus voting rate as reported in the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE) from Tufts University.
The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge empowers colleges and universities to achieve excellence in nonpartisan student democratic engagement. Morehouse College was recognized alongside over 500 campuses using data from the NSLVE, which reported the second-highest student voter turnout in a midterm election since the study began.
