Caleb Bryan ’28, a marketing major, and Joshua Fisher ’26, a business finance major, showcased their skills and determination at The University of Toledo Invitational Sales Competition (UTISC). Accompanied by Dr. Roberto Mora Cortez, a visiting associate professor in the Business and Economics division, these talented students represented Morehouse on a national stage, competing against high-performing peers from 35 universities across the country.
Reflecting on the experience, Joshua shared, "I am very grateful to be representing the Freshman and Sophomore class of Morehouse College along with 35 other universities at The University of Toledo Invitational Sales Competition. This opportunity not only allows us to test our skills in a competitive environment but also to learn from industry leaders and build meaningful connections that will shape our professional journeys."
UTISC, the nation’s first and only national sales competition dedicated exclusively to underclassmen, offers an unparalleled platform for budding sales talent. With 16 distinct connection opportunities for sponsors and universities, the competition bridges the gap between academia and industry, connecting over 300 participants from 50+ organizations across 20+ states. The event serves as a robust four-year sales talent pipeline, providing invaluable exposure and development for students aspiring to excel in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
Congratulations to Caleb, Joshua, and Dr. Mora Cortez for representing Morehouse College with excellence and for making the most of this incredible learning and networking opportunity. Their journey at UTISC exemplifies the caliber of talent that Morehouse cultivates — poised, prepared, and ready to lead.
