    Dr. Frederick Knight Speaks on the history of Juneteenth and the importance of Black Elders

    History professor and author Dr. Frederick Knight joins On Topic to recognize Juneteenth and honor the wisdom of our Black elders throughout history.

    Dr. Knight's book "Black Elders: The Meaning of Age in American Slavery and Freedom" reminds us of the resilience and invaluable contributions of generations of Black changemakers in their fight for freedom and equality.
