Morehouse College celebrates Dr. Harold V. Bennett, Ph.D., D.Min, Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion and the Martin L. King Jr. Endowed Chair of Religion, on his nomination for Educator of the Year at the 2025 Rising In Community Excellence (RICE) Awards in Atlanta.
The RICE Awards honor leaders whose vision, dedication, and impact inspire progress in communities across Atlanta. Dr. Bennett’s nomination reflects his outstanding contributions as a scholar, professor, lecturer, radio host, and community activist. His commitment to academic excellence and community engagement continues to uplift Morehouse students while advancing conversations that shape society.
