Morehouse College stands out as the only Historically Black College and University among DEC’s members, highlighting the institution’s leadership in shaping how artificial intelligence and digital learning are integrated into higher education. The Digital Education Council is more than a consortium; it is a global movement for education innovation. Through the exchange of diverse perspectives, knowledge, and best practices, DEC empowers its members to design forward-thinking strategies that prepare students for a rapidly evolving digital world.
“Our participation in the Digital Education Council allows Morehouse to both contribute to and learn from global leaders who are shaping the digital transformation of higher education,” said Dr. Mendenhall. “It’s about ensuring our students are equipped not just to adapt to the future, but to lead it.”
As Morehouse continues to explore the responsible use of AI and emerging technologies in teaching and learning, its presence in this international network reinforces the College’s enduring commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and global leadership.
