Illuminated by Morehouse, Episode 3 — Beyond Critical Race Theory, Part 1

    November 23, 2021

For the third episode of Illuminated, we dive into the truth, impact, and recent criticism of critical race theory as well as how we define truth in a media- and opinion-driven era and protect the truth behind African American stories.

Adjunct professor of journalism Nicole Carr sits down with Dr. Nina Gilbert, director of the Morehouse Center for Excellence in Education, and Dr. Eddie Glaude '89, chair of the African American Studies department at Princeton University and Morehouse College Board of Trustee Member, for this riveting, relevant discussion.

Illuminated is a conversation series through which the College brings the discourse from its hallowed halls to the digital world to spark intellectual conversations, challenge perspectives, and make an impact. Episodes can be viewed on the Morehouse College YouTube Channel.
