Statement from the President: Justice for Ahmaud Arbery

    November 24, 2021

As Americans, we should have confidence that overwhelming evidence would lead to the conviction of those who would brazenly murder an innocent Black man. Though we too often are uncertain if justice will be rendered regardless of the color of the victim, we can take solace today that the life of Ahmaud Arbery was respected and valued. Let us continue to work for the day when equal justice under the law will not come with a question mark. - David A. Thomas, Ph.D.
