Jibri Wright ’27 Advances in the Entrepreneur of Impact 2026 Competition

    April 7, 2026

At Morehouse College, the path from student to leader is often defined by moments where preparation meets opportunity, and for Jibri Wright ’27, that moment is now. A third-year Business Administration major with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship, Wright has been named a Top 20 finalist in the Entrepreneur of Impact 2026 competition, hosted by Daymond John, founder of FUBU and investor on ABC's Shark Tank, is a nationwide campaign that invites entrepreneurs ages 13+ to compete for mentorship, and a $25,000 prize while supporting national nonprofit GENYOUth.

Voting is now open as Wright competes to advance into the Top 15. Currently ranked fifth, he is gaining momentum in a highly competitive national field. Supporters can cast free votes and help elevate his standing before the deadline. If he ultimately secures the top position, Wright will be featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, a national platform highlighting emerging founders and innovators.

As CEO and COO of Fastlane Creative Events & Entertainment LLC, he has built an automotive lifestyle brand that produces large-scale experiential events, including car shows and drift meets that attract both enthusiasts and major industry partners. Through this work, he has collaborated with globally recognized brands such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, Monster Energy, and Red Bull.

On campus, Wright leads Morehouse Motors, where he successfully secured a partnership with Fuel Fest 2025, further bridging student innovation with national platforms. His leadership extends into professional development spaces as well, serving as a Career Prep Fellow with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), while gaining hands-on industry experience as a Leasing Consultant with PeakMade Real Estate. His trajectory continues to rise with upcoming internships at Prologis and The Grove Park Foundation, reinforcing his deep passion for real estate and community-centered development.

He is the founder of the ambassador program for From My Hands to Your Hands Food Pantry Inc., a nonprofit initiative rooted in service and community care. This work reflects a broader philosophy that entrepreneurship is not solely about profit, but about creating value that uplifts others.

As the voting window continues, the Morehouse community has an opportunity to rally behind one of its own. Supporting Wright is not just about helping him advance in a competition, it is about affirming a model of leadership that reflects the very best of the institution.
