    Elder Kimberly M. Brown Honored with Joseph R. Biden Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award

    Morehouse College proudly celebrates Elder Kimberly M. Brown, Signature Events Coordinator and Renaissance Room Manager, for receiving the 2024–2025 Joseph R. Biden Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award from AmeriCorps. The recently presented honor recognizes her lifelong commitment to building a stronger nation through volunteer service.

    Elder Brown’s dedication to service is deeply woven into her professional and personal journey. For the past two years, she has served as Volunteer Manager of the Morehouse College Renaissance Room, creating a welcoming space that reflects the College’s mission of excellence and brotherhood. Beyond the campus gates, Elder Brown has spent decades leading and supporting charitable initiatives, nonprofit organizations, and ministry outreach programs that uplift and empower the community.

    Her recognition by AmeriCorps reflects her deep and lasting commitment to using service as a means to uplift others. Through her faith, leadership, and unwavering compassion, Elder Brown continues to embody the values of servant leadership that define the Morehouse spirit.
