Dr. Mendenhall expressed her deep appreciation to Chapter President Agustina Bacelo and Social Media Manager Olivia Padilla for their warm hospitality and exceptional student leadership.

During her visit, Dr. Mendenhall was inspired by the curiosity, intellect, and passion shown by St. John’s undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry students. Their thoughtful questions and enthusiasm for the chemical sciences, she noted, reaffirm the bright future of emerging scholars in the field. Despite a cold New York day, the SJU campus offered a beautiful backdrop for an energizing exchange of ideas.

In addition to her seminar, Dr. Mendenhall also took the opportunity to meet with AI partners at ibl.ai and WrightNow Solutions to strategize on scaling and sustaining the acclaimed Morehouse PILOT Fellowship Program. Morehouse College celebrates Dr. Mendenhall’s continued commitment to student development, cross-institutional collaboration, and technological innovation in the chemical sciences.
