Chad "Candyman" Pitts ’27, a member of the Morehouse College Boxing Club, recently achieved international recognition for his outstanding performance at the USA Boxing 2026 International Tournament.
The tournament was held in Pueblo, Colorado, and featured elite amateur boxers from across the United States and abroad. Competing in the 132-pound Elite Male Division, Pitts demonstrated exceptional technical skill, discipline, and endurance throughout the weeklong event.Pitts competed on four consecutive days from February 11 to February 14, securing victories in each bout.
His consistent and commanding performances culminated in an International Championship title, representing a significant achievement within both national and international amateur boxing.
Through discipline and persistence, Pitts has carved out a moment that speaks to the broader Morehouse experience. His run at the international level is a testament to the time, focus, and resilience required to compete at the highest level.
