Dr. Charles Thomas, Jr., Director of the Morehouse Online General Education Program and Associate Professor (NTT) in the Professional and Continuing Studies Division recently published his textbook, A 21st Century View of World Religions, with Cognella Academic Publishing.
The book provides students with an accessible and contemporary exploration of the world’s major faith traditions, offering both historical grounding and modern perspectives. His work is designed to help learners not only understand the diversity of global religious practices but also critically engage with the ways religion shapes cultures, communities, and identities in today’s world.
Through his leadership in the Morehouse Online General Education Program, Dr. Thomas has been instrumental in expanding opportunities for non-traditional and online learners to experience the transformative education that Morehouse provides.
