'With a background in community organizing, business development, and civic engagement, Ford’s campaign will center on educational equity, economic opportunity, public safety, and policies that support families at every stage of life. His people-first approach promises to bring fresh energy and thoughtful leadership to Annapolis.

"As founder and principal broker of 4D Properties, he helps residents, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits access opportunity through real estate. He also serves as Vice President of the Marlboro Pike Partnership CDC, where he leads neighborhood revitalization and economic development efforts along one of the county’s key corridors.

"In 2024, he was elected as a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention, helping shape the party’s platform during a critical election year. He also served as the Maryland State Director for Win With Black Men, a national initiative aimed at mobilizing Black male voters and fostering civic engagement. In this role, Kevin led statewide efforts to encourage voter participation and amplify the voices of Black men in the political process.

"Additionally, Kevin was selected as an inaugural fellow of the James E. Clyburn Political Leadership Institute, a premier leadership development program organized by the Omega Network for Action, which prepares emerging Black leaders in public policy, campaign strategy, and civic engagement. He also serves as an officer of the South County Democratic Club, where he works to advance grassroots organizing and build political power at the local level."
